Timothy (Tim) Wiher is an Irvine native who completed his medical training at University of California, Irvine (UCI) and Long Beach Memorial Family Medicine Residency. During his training, he started every day with a simple mantra: “Today, I’m going to do whatever I can in my ability to help the person in front of me.” As the days passed, there seemed to be obstacle after obstacle getting in the way of him practicing in the way that he wanted. He came to the conclusion that he couldn’t continue in the insurance-based medical system and founded Trust Direct Primary Care, where he could have the time to connect with his patients and actually help in the way he wanted.
